Tasks

As one of our client’s first team members in the area of Business Intelligence, you will handle tasks related to BI and data analysis together with their Head of Business Intelligence.

• Define, maintain and communicate key metrics that directly determine their strategic and operational decision-making processes
• Building and maintaining data products to track KPIs, answer questions and uncover new insights
• Collaborating with people across the company to enable them to self-serve Business Intelligence through Looker, their chosen BI platform
• Prototype, design and build ETL pipelines that transform raw data from their internal and external systems into a format suitable for querying
• Doing deep-dive analysis of data to both test specific hypothesis and generate new business insights

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in BI and data modelling
• Experience with modern BI tools such as Looker, Tableau or PowerBI
• Excellent knowledge of SQL
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex topics to a variety of stakeholders
• Generalist mindset; eagerness to learn about new technologies and tackle unfamiliar problems
• Startup mindset and pragmatic, hands-on attitude
• Fluency in English and great communication skills
• Experience with modern data tools such as dbt, Stitch, Fivetran or Airflow would be a bonus
